On Saturday, November 10, Robbie Walsh
hosted a free, public instructional clinic covering slide guitar
playing on Gallucci Music’s brand new
stage! The clinic addressed beginning through advanced slide technique, including
alternate tunings, using classic Rolling Stones and Muddy Waters
songs as examples. Robbie Walsh is one of Northeast Pennsylvania’s
most accomplished musicians, having toured with Noel Redding of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Chubby Checker. Robbie has taught
private guitar lessons for more than 25 years, 10 of which have been
at Gallucci Music.

received written transcriptions of material covered in Robbie’s
instruction.
